Prof. Olson received his Ph.D. in Interdepartmental Business Area at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is now a James & H.K. Stuart Professor in MIS, Department of Management, University of Nebraska. He was James C. and Rhonda Seacrest Fellow from 2005 to 2006 and he was awarded Raymond E. Miles Distinguished Scholar – UNT in 2002. He was appointed the James & H.K. Stuart Professorship in MIS (endowment) in 2001 and Lowry Mays Professorship (endowment) in 1999. He was named Fellow – Decision Sciences Institute in 1998 and Business Analysis Faculty Excellence Fellowship (endowment) from 1995 to 1997. Prof. Olson had been named CBA/GSB Faculty Research Fellow from 1992 to 1993.
Together with Prof. Xingquan Zhu and Prof. Chengqi Zhang, Prof. Olson organized the special issue for IJSI (Vol.2, No.2) in 2008.
